Michel Scala grew up in a real estate oriented family. His mother & father exemplified an uncanny ability to engage the real estate industry by upholding a strong and resilient work ethic in a cutthroat construction business.  Originally from Massachusetts, Michel lived in 8 homes before reaching his twentieth birthday. His mother & father continued to buy, build, and sell throughout Central Florida.

 

Upon matriculation from the University of Central Florida, armed with a major in Real Estate, Michel started his real estate career as a licensed sales associate for a commercial real estate brokerage. Subsequently, Michel shifted his focus to residential real estate sales, representing buyers, sellers, and investors. Additionally, Michel worked alongside his father’s development and construction projects in Downtown Orlando and Winter Garden.

 

During law school, Michel placed internships at Local, State, and Federal agencies. During his final year, Michel successfully took Florida's Real Estate Broker exam and started Regency Real Estate, LLC. After passing the Bar, Michel Scala immediately took on the duties and obligations  as an Assistant State Attorney. Upon joining the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Scala was assigned to various courtrooms with voluminous dockets. As a prosecutor, Michel handled numerous criminal cases and tried several cases to verdict. While working for the State Attorney’s Office, Michel developed indispensable skills required for operating in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. 

 

Upon leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Michel established a Membership with the Attorneys’ Title Fund Services (“The Fund”) and is a Title Agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Mr. Scala is authorized pursuant to Florida Statute to issue title commitments, policies, and closing protection letters. Mr. Scala is the founder of The Law Offices of Michel Scala, PLLC, where he continues a legal career rooted in the service of others. Michel utilizes his unique background to assist individuals through the real estate process with a keen eye toward ensuring his clients’ legal rights and obligations under the law are protected.
